The company’s founding by our (great) grandfather Joseph Scheuble in 1918 and the opening of the first branch in Heidenheim marked the beginning of a new era for us – and the start of more than 100 years of watchmaking expertise. Since that day, we have always moved with the times in the premium wristwatch segment, and indeed we like to be one step ahead.

Even in the past, our company philosophy was forward looking. Willi and Anneliese Scheuble realised early on that the sporty and dynamic watches of the Rolex brand would perfectly match their aspirations and suit their newly built business premises in Heidenheim. It was in 1974 that the Swiss watch brand moved into Scheuble’s new, innovatively designed jewellery store. Each of the three outlets in Würzburg, Heidenheim and Ulm is now an exclusive Rolex retailer.

Part of what fascinated Willi Scheuble so much about the attractive Swiss watchmaker was its role as a pioneer. From the Rolex Explorer, which could withstand a temperature differential of up to 70°C and was designed for the first ascent of Mount Everest, to diving experiments in the depths of the Mariana Trench, to brand ambassadors such as Paul Newman and Sean Connery, Rolex embodied innovation and charisma – making it ideally suited to Scheuble.

Since 1993, the family has continued its partnership with Rolex with Martina Fröhler, Rudolf Fröhler and Stephan Scheuble in the third generation of management. As a result, Scheuble – just like the Swiss watch brand itself – can boast a unique blend of tradition and innovation. While Martina Wächter and Stephan Scheuble have been running the Würzburg branch since 2005, Martina and Rudolf Fröhler manage the stores in Heidenheim and Ulm.
